I come from a family of different dental specialists and chose orthodontics due to its combination of scientific thinking and artistic talent. Every individual is similar to a blank canvas, and I enjoy designing a smile that is unique to that person.
I also love to laugh, so it is wonderful to work in a field where I get to hear entertaining stories about our patients’ lives every month.
Education and Continuing education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where I received an academic scholarship. Following dental school, I completed a hospital dental residency program and treated many complex, interdisciplinary cases. I continued on to attend a dual-degree postgraduate program, where I received three years of orthodontic specialty training and a Master of Business Administration at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine.
I am a member of numerous professional groups and am involved in study clubs where a team of different specialists collaborate and discuss complex cases. I have found that understanding the principles of other fields of dentistry is essential in advancing orthodontic treatment, and I enjoy being part of this team.
Outside the Office
I was born and raised in New Jersey. My husband and I have lived in Manhattan for many years, and we spend much of our time with our son and dog. I love to travel to new places and play both tennis and golf.
