Our staff is highly educated, well-trained and skilled at their specific duties. Each member of our team also has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
We continually update our clinical skills through continuing education courses, and our entire staff is CPR certified

Katherine
– Office Manager/Financial Coordinator
Katherine attended Kingsborough College, majoring in secretarial sciences, and has worked alongside Dr. Gibbs for over 15 years helping bring the office to the level of success it’s at today. As our Office Manager, she is instrumental in all operations of the business. Katherine helps our patients with scheduling appointments, insurance information and processing, and financial arrangements.
Zaida
– Clinical Coordinator/Web Assistant
Zaida has been working in the dental field for over 14 years. She received her associate’s degree in marketing management from New York City College of Technology. She has been a part of our team for seven years, coordinating all patient appointments, assisting in our website design and assisting with the implementation of our newsletter.
Maria
– Registered Dental Hygienist
Maria received her bachelor’s degree in dental health education from NYU College of Dentistry in 2002 and has 14 years of dental experience with six years of orthodontic experience at our office. As part of our clinical team, Maria works side-by-side with our doctors, from taking radiographs and impressions during the records visit to helping Dr. Gibbs and Dr. Marchi with patients already in treatment. She is a great asset to our team and always very warm and friendly with our patients.
Michelle
– Registered Dental Hygienist
Michelle earned her associate’s degree in dental hygiene at New York City College of Technology and has over 10 years of experience in orthodontics working here at Gibbs Orthodontics. As part of our clinical team, she assists our doctors with taking records and treating patients. We are sure you will appreciate her calm, friendly and professional attitude.
Jamilet
– Orthodontic Assistant
Working in dentistry for over six years, Jamilet attended John Jay College, majoring in forensic sciences. As one of our assistants, Jamilet is responsible for the instrumentation, sterilization, lab work and general day-to-day operations of the clinic. We are happy to have her on our team; she is a responsible, caring, and efficient assistant that helps run our days as smoothly as possible, while still having some fun!
Cristal
– Orthodontic Assistant
Cristal attended New York City College of Technology, majoring in nursing, and has been working in dentistry for over five years. A key member of our clinical team, Cristal is a very friendly and professional orthodontic assistant who helps the doctors with orthodontic procedures and the day-to-day operations of the lab. We are happy to have her working with us and enjoy her upbeat attitude.
