Types of Braces

Invisalign
Invisalign consists of a series of custom made “aligners” that are fabricated to gradually shift the position of your teeth. Each aligner is worn for a few weeks then switched out until the end of your treatment timeline. This system is based on a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan generated by the orthodontist and implemented into the Invisalign system. Ceramic Braces
The most common esthetic option for orthodontic treatment in our office is ceramic braces, also called “clear” braces. We offer these to most of our patients and have found them to be an excellent choice for patients concerned with esthetics, but still looking for the best result possible. Please ask us if “clear” braces would be an option for you or your child.

Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces are the most common appliances used in orthodontics today. Even though metal braces have been used for many years, there have been significant improvements to the design and fabrication of these appliances. They are now smaller and more comfortable to wear than ever before.
